No, you are just not familiar with their theory which is that the brain is merely a receiver of our conscoiusness and we are quite possibly receiving it from outside the brain.

There is absolutely nothing in the article that says anything at all about that BS woo-woo.

It has been their theory for 20 years and they have now proven it partially. I also already gave you a link to Hameroff discussing this exact topic. They're are also numerous videos on youtube of them discussing it together. Penrose intitially did not want to say that, and only Hameroff said it. But now they both say it-like it or not. And yes it is also mentioned in the article. The article specifically says it accomodates spiritual approaches to consciousness. Hameroff has said in many interviews that it is really MORE accomodating of the spiritual approach. Too bad for you.
