I hear ya. When I was 14, my sister was having an epilectic seizure. My father wasn't there, so I took the car, since my mom couldn't drive. I turned on the 4 blinkers and dashed to the nearer hospital. At some point we were intercepted by cops and they understood (I guess they didn't realize my age) and scouted ahead of us to the entrance of the hospital ER. Phew. they didn't got me.
