I really hate this 2nd Amendment argument. That is a dodge the NRA has used for 40 years. Nobody is in denial that it exists. And since there is no political party oath to own a firearm, that means, GASP...... Even democrats own them!
I wish gun safety advocates would stop letting them sell that fallacy of equivocation and trap. The real issue has always been MONEY in industry profits. Much like big oil drug it's feet trying to keep lead in gas. Much like it still does not want to face global warming.
If the worshipers want to be asshole originalists we can go that route and only allow muskets. Otherwise laws have to change with changing technology.
I agree with you Gae 100%. It still remains that if gun worshiper's logic worked the way they claim, we'd have no firearm violence at all.
