What’s Left?

It’s a dead cert that Trump is going to be acquitted next week. The thread running through Republican arguments for acquittal seem to be that nothing Trump did rises to the level of being removed from office.
-He illegally withheld the Ukraine aid.
-He illegally solicited foreign interference in a US election.
-He illegally attempted a cover-up of that solicitation.
-He illegally ordered people in his administration to ignore Congressional subpoenas.
-He illegally engaged in witness intimidation.
-He illegally used non-government personnel to carry out foreign policy.
If these acts (and others too numerous to list) don’t merit his removal from office, what’s left that does?

9 more months of whining about how Hillary had the election stolen - followed by 4 more years of whining that the unelectable candidate the ( D )s run next had their election stolen as well?
If you don't like the Electoral College - fine - if you like try to get it removed from the Constitution....
But pissing and moaning about the rules and laws and calling a legal election "theft" is some seriously whiney shit.

Changing party registration to Democrat. In the republitrator party mindset having a big D beside your name is the only ground for removal from office.

Indications that continued support for Trump might impact negatively on their own chances of reelection.
At least that tends to work on politicians round here.

But seriously folks...
Given Trump's egregiously illegal behaviour, what would Trump (or any future president) have to do to get impeached? Murder with witnesses? Selling off surplus states and pocketing the money? If interfering with witnesses, attempting to suborn your elections, ignoring Congressional subpoenas and all the rest of it isn't enough to be removed from office, what 'high crimes and misdemeanors' are enough?
