My comment is ignored/dismissed such that you can ask yet another question. The answer to which is quite deep, profound and (Dare I reply with) complicated.

I would first seperate your sentence into;

"Driving force" followed by "Inteligence"

Any driving force can impart its momentum upon another medium.

(Flowery, colourful language on comming)

Streams shape stones.
Oceans shape cliffs.
Winds shape terrain (As well as sculpt trees)

All examples of your first point sheered clear of your inteligence addendum.

Does such poetic discourse meet with your approval?
