I am not a Jesus freak, as you know.

No one cares 

 

I do respect God and our purpose for being alive here.

Then you respect nothing

 I love being alive, don't you? 

Yup 

How could you ever want life to end?

Because living forever could only be tedious 

 Sometimes I think atheists are all in a depression caused by either not being with the right person, or possibly caused by other traumatic events in their lives.

Nope simply accepting the end and accepting the closure of things that is neither depression nor trauma and it's truly offensive you assume this .

I think the ultimate goal is eternity in an incredible paradise far superior to this.

Then the ultimate goal is pointless and tedious . Now that's  depressing .

Closure and resolution are better then paradise as paradise can only be a tedious and meaningless state .

I also suspect that the "think" part, like much of the rest of their posts, is bullshit.
