Regardless of what arguments are made to suggest that DNA points to a designer, the response will almost always be the "Monkeys with typewriters" argument. Put enough monkeys in a room with typewriters and give them enough time and they'll crank out all the works of Shakespeare. There's a great deal of evidence suggesting that the Universe isn't that old though. Nobody wants to look at that though and those who do are arbitrarily considered crackpots.
