Both dogs and wolves can be domesticated.

That has nothing to do anything and while they can be domesticated too some degree they are still a wild animal and can't be trusted 

 If you take a wolf and a dog of similar size, the wolves will generally submit to the dog.  

Citation needed .Considering i already linked to the fact wolves are stronger faster etc  then dogs of the same size i have doubts.  

Take a dog like a Caucasian Shepherd, and it's very unlikely that a pack of wolves will make an attempt to get anywhere near it. 

Citation needed  and yes i'm aware of videos and the dogs reputation i also point out that the wolf sometimes wins 

There is a reason mankind has been preferable to domesticating dogs more so than wolves.

Yes Wolves are not a reliable pet their still a wild animal 

  Wolves can be great animals though. 

Aside the point 

 It's in their nature to be social and wild wolves with sometimes try to bond with dogs and humans if they notice them close by, even if it's just wanting to play.

Once again the reason we choose the dog is because wolves can never be trusted as they are still wild

Well so far you don't seem to know jack about wolves.  This includes making claims that they "won't fetch anything", when there are even cases of wolves coming out from the bush because they see an owner playing with their dog and they want to play too.  Wolves are social creatures, and when you get that, you'll get wolves, and stop running around believing in the "wolf god" who runs around all by his lonesome, looking to bother people.
