It is an improvement upon nonsense. And an improvement upon nonsense makes sense. After all, that is all that science and philosophy are (when you really stand back and look at them.)
It's not, go spend twenty minutes at a bahai forum. Those guys are nuts, even more nuts than your run of the mill religious nuts. That's what happens when you get too deep into syncretism, though, you end up with a schizophrenic religion.

You were SO right about this. I take back my earlier (and uninformed) comment about Bahai being an improvement upon nonsense. It's taking all the nonsense together and heaping more nonsense on top of it. That's hardly an improvement.
I'm kinda pissed that Baha'i is even mentioned in wikipedia's article on religious pluralism. Baha'i is NOT pluralism. It's a bastardization of world religions with some extra dogma added for good measure. That's not exactly pluralism.
I am a fan, however, of the philosopher John Hick and his ideas. That is why I formerly thought Baha'i might be "an improvement upon nonsense."
