That is called equality. If someone wants to be "equal" they have to at least have the fucking balls to go through life like the rest of us. If you want to be treated as an equal in any adult community, it's more or less a prerequiite that you can make your own choices, and abide by the choices you make. I clearly don't know this guy since I didn't even catch on to the fact that he's German..... so this is an honest question. Is he a fucking child that's incapable of dealing with his own problems?
The only "utopia" in this conversation is the one that you think someone will be in if only they let you guide them through life without anyone ever saying something distasteful or cruel. [sarcasm]How wonderful it will be here for the little people on the internet since you are here to protect the weak from a cunt like me. You must protect them and in the end they will live happily ever after in the bigotry of your low expectations. [/sarcasm]
At least I think enough of the guy to tell him to live his own fucking life like an adult. You seem to think he can't...
I'm not talking about equality, I'm talking about the right to self-defense, the right to protect one self from harm. They're not even asking us to use any sort of gender pronouns to use when describing them. This person is considering the possibility (real or imagined) that coming out IRL might cause them harm.
Part of the problem is that being gender-fluid isn't the problem, the problem is that other people think that they have a problem and they're more then just vocal about it.
