When somebody is at war, they will use whatever to give themselves the "courage" to face machine guns and bombs.
Just like the Star of David on the Israeli flag. A religious symbol to give Jewish soldiers the courage in combat.
ISIS is shouting "we hate America"; and give themselves an extra boost by sticking to "extreme Jihadi propaganda". But if you looked closely, you will see the religious propaganda evaporate. ISIS on day 1 was so different from today.

If the american government would know what it was doing, the state department wouldnt make such bad decisions with devastating results for the US, all the time. Oh, and dont speak too loud, they may come for you.
No. American politicians know exactly what they are doing. They put personal interest above anything else, and this is where the disaster originate from. You never gain peace unless you sacrifice your own interest; but America doesn't believe in that.
The Americans were warned since 2003 not to invade Iraq because "it will lead to something like ISIS".
