re: transwomen in sports
It's hard for me to really get excited about the issue, because I care little about sports. However, it seems to me that women might see this as a really hostile act-- here they are, struggling in a man's world to achieve something that can't be taken away from them, and dude in a sports bra breezes past them.
In my opinion, the solution is to redefine. If you call it "women's sports," and someone has fought to have their identity as a woman accepted, then she has a right to run, no matter how strong her advantage is. So call it the "YY games" rather than "women's games," and the problem is done, in my opinion.
