The irony being your the one who has asserted something without evidence .

1. My assertion is that this is a thread designed for an individual to inform people of their sexuality.
2. My assertion is that this thread was written in an attempt to gain approval for this individuals sexuality.
3. My assertion is that this is not something people do unless they feel the need to draw attention to themselves because of their sexuality. 

Points 1 and 2 can be found in the OP. Point 3, while being nothing more than opinion, is based on the evidence of points 1 and 2 which can be found in the OP.
