I think you all are fou. As the saying goes, even a broken clock is right twice a day. I've remarked in the past that I was thoroughly unimpressed with the acting chops of Meiko Kaji. Yet in Lady Snowblood, those nonexistent chops were not particularly stressed and so the movie was fine with her in the lead role, her inability to act notwithstanding. I'll generally watch anything or anybody so long as there's a decent chance of it being good. I generally dislike both Seth Rogan and James Franco, but when the movie Pineapple Express popped up on my radar, I watched it anyway because I had heard good things about it and just had a good feeling about it. It wasn't a great film, but it wasn't a bad one either. (My funny bone appears broken as I don't find comedy in general particularly appealing or funny these days.)
So all this "I won't watch such and such because so and so is in it," is just stupid in my opinion. I can understand the irritation of watching someone you don't like, but if you give them a chance, they might prove your dislike to have been short sighted.
