If you think that is an irrational approach, fair enough, but that is your opinion, but to me I see no reason to make the matter overly complicated. If he can show me, then I can observe it. If he can't show me, then I can't observe it. My response is already predetermined because I already stated it. He shows it, I observe it, it appears authentic, he wins.
No I wasn't already a Christian.
You have a similar outlook on life as I do. There is beauty everywhere.
Our big difference seems to be that what you see as an end, I see as a gateway to the next great adventure.
As a Christian, that in a lot of ways is how we understand Jesus. He came here, went through extreme circumstances like we often do, got chased, beaten, mocked, and eventually died. And in all of it, it wasn't a loss, but the winning move.
A video on what particularly.

Video 1 - Was a guy talking to another guy and looking at a computer simulation. Interesting, but didn't see any rocks or any other new matter in the video, just conjecture
Video 2- Talks about friction. Interesting, but didn't see any rocks or any other new matter in the video.
Video 3 - Conjecture about how things may have happened in regard to strands of RNA. Semi-interesting but presumes something that isn't necessary. Still no rocks or any other new matter appearing in the video.
Video 4 - Same response as video 3, because it was the same video.
You are expecting videos of things that happen at scales smaller than light particles!
Now we know these things happen it has been proven but it is not possible to have actual pictures due to the scale.
Yes conjecture on a viable mechanism, however that is more than what you have presented for how god did it, which is just to say god did it.
Can you see that you have not given any rebuttal or alternative.
Let me put it like this.
If I cant find a sock that I thought I'd put in with the washing.
You might say "that's the sock fairy".
I would then ask "how does the sock fairy get the sock? why does the sock fairy take on sock? do you have any evidence for a sock fairy" And I will say that because there are better explanations for sock disappearance, maybe it didn't make it into the wash, maybe the socks became separated and I lost the sock perhaps its still in the machine.
But you would say "the sock fairy just is".
That's where we are with god. Not only do we have better explanations but the god hypothesis really has no explanatory use of its own.
Just saying "god did it" is useless.
So we have better ideas that can in the fullness of time be thoroughly tested and to counter those you have your beliefs founded on dictionary definitions apparently.

He will just keep asking for the same unreasonable evidence and dismissing anything else a "conjecture" . His demands for a video are as unreasonable as his insistence science refutes or defies these proposals
