How is that unfair?
The Christians of the temperament to make major contributions to science inspite of Christianity will still make major contribution to science.
The Christians of the temperament to resist science because science does not coddle their fantasies will still resist science and remain besotted by their fantasies.
Christianity still relies on the latter vastly outnumbering the former to survive.
The latter would still do everything they can to resist the progress of science so Christianity can survive.
