Post industrial society, suddenly no government ;fiat economy collapses,no rule of law. Plus the US has hundreds of millions of firearms in private hands,-warlords,perhaps civil war. It would indeed be 'anarchy' in the popular sense of 'chaos'
Perhaps anarchists could name a few industrial societies which were anarchic. I say industrial as the oldest culture one earth is anarchic;Australian aborigines,over 50 THOUSAND years. However,theirs is a stone age culture,with people living in small family groups.
If you do not devote yourself to an ideal, how can you really prove to me that you won't be the first to leave at the sign of trouble?
