What you are talking about is indoctrination and fanaticism: when you jump to conclusion before looking at the facts and if you decide to stick to it you can make anything seem "true". Like, for instance, flat Earth: if someone decides that he believes in flat earth than there is nothing you can do to dissuade him. You can send him into space and tell him "look through the window" and he does and sees Earth is round but claims it's not a real window but LCD monitor that is showing round Earth.
That's like it is with you. No matter what you'll always believe that everything in the Bible is true no matter how wrong it is and there are plenty of wrong things in the Bible.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
