Lets run with that..the human mind is the problem. Is it, then, possible that your human mind has lead you to misapprehend the situation you find yourself in, and that situations ultimate cause?
Is it -possible- that your homegrown nutballs don;t need anyone's help to murder you (even though having that help is super convenient), and take no direction in doing so from outside forces? Is it possible that their ability to murder you is an effect of their ability to maintain power, which forces other countries to deal with them in one of three equally suboptimal ways...as legitimate sovereigns...starve the people for the crimes of the despot, or invade ala regime change?
