Doesn't wash Trelane had a mammy and a daddy. Outside of Amanda Q, Q's don't.
In Voyager, Q had a child. He wanted to have one with Janeway, but she refused.

I also point out with all the weird god like entities around in that time maybe he didn't stand out as much . Or maybe Q erased humanities memory of him .
