The Bible and scientists both agree we come from dust. Even the iron in our blood was once in the core of a star that exploded in a super nova. So, yes, we are mud people.

If we had come from 'Dust' we'd be silicon based life forms. Since that's the majority of what the planet is actually comprised of.
We, however, are carbon based life forms.

That the iron in our blood (And the rust that forms on our cars) was made in nuclear fusion furnaces is a seperate point.
