"The processes which natural selection acts on random mutation are completely random"
What? Random mutation does occur, but it is not the basis of evolutionary change.
As is common with apologists here, you seem to be perfectly comfortable criticising things about which you know little or nothing, or have completely misunderstood.. This does not make you seem devout or wise, it just makes you seem ignorant.
The unfortunate thing for you is that people feel just fine dismissing everything you say, including your Christian message. That makes you a pretty poor witness for your Faith. Perhaps stick to giving witness by the way you live your life.
.If you want to spend time with people capable of abstract thought, here or in real life, I suggest you do some reading about evolution. . Perhaps you know a high school science teacher , or perhaps a 14-15 yr old high school student? They could teach you the basics in under an hour. It ain't rocket science.
"The Voyage of The Beagle "is fascinating to read, anda good place to start .Pretty sure it's in the public domain, so can be obtained in PDF form, free, from"The Internet Archive'. The basic book is " On The Origin Of Species'", also in the public domain, also available free.
The Theory of evolution is accepted scientific fact . A scientific theory is an explanation ,it is not a synonym, for 'proposition' or 'hypothesis .
I have included some information in case you can't be bothered doing any real reading. Don't like wikipedia?/ No prob; there are hundreds of learned articles online .
"The scientific theory of evolution by natural selection was proposed by Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace in the mid-19th century and was set out in detail in Darwin's book On the Origin of Species (1859).[6] Evolution by natural selection was first demonstrated by the observation that more offspring are often produced than can possibly survive. This is followed by three observable facts about living organisms: 1) traits vary among individuals with respect to their morphology, physiology and behaviour (phenotypic variation), 2) different traits confer different rates of survival and reproduction (differential fitness) and 3) traits can be passed from generation to generation (heritability of fitness).[7] Thus, in successive generations members of a population are more likely to be replaced by the progenies of parents with favourable characteristics that have enabled them to survive and reproduce in their respective environments. In the early 20th century, other competing ideas of evolution such as mutationism and orthogenesis were refuted as the modern synthesis reconciled Darwinian evolution with classical genetics, which established adaptive evolution as being caused by natural selection acting on Mendelian genetic variation.[8] "
