Yeah, a common misunderstanding, not just with Gormless christians;
Darwin did not argue we are descended from monkeys. We have common ancestors.
Human beings are primates just as are say gorillas. We did not descend from apes, we ARE a species of ape.. That is the meaning of 'primate'
So far I have never come across a christian apologist who has actually read and understood Darwin.
