Why? I don't care what the pope believes. I live in a greedy consumer obsessed, celebrity and wealth worshiping culture where people absolutely believe that they can't possibly live without being constantly entertained by spending money and setting copious quantities of fossil fuels on fire constantly. I have more dangerous beliefs to contend with, than those of the pope's.
Being obsessed with the religious beliefs of others is low hanging entertainment for losers.
I'm not arsed what the pope believes either until he ties Satan into the child sex abuse scandal. Just pointing out that using an imaginary entity as an excuse in this case wasn't very clever of him, and proves that the head of the Catholic church believes we have a goody vs baddy scenario.
As for being obsessed, I'm far from it. Loser yes, obsessed no.
