Not individual opinion. The entire field of genetics etc makes the case for things such as 'Common descent'.
The theory as a whole has taken on board the discoveries of chemistry, geology, physics, genetics. The list goes on.

The 'Creationist' side of things continue to show a paucity of, heck, pretty much of anything that's even coherant.

Tell me what. You go off and get ALL. The entire feild of Creationists to agree on the age of the Earth. You come back with a total concensus of the field and we'll talk again.

The age of the Earth is 4.54 billion yrs old. The YEC got this one wrong but they are still brothers and sisters in Christ.
