We don't really know, though we do know that there probably wasn't any love involved and it happened between two much simpler creatures than ourselves, a single celled eukaryote.

Maybe, but that doesn't mean that you can't have opinions on the answers given, what answers you expected, and how the two match up..or how they differ or align with whatever your own answers may be.

I figure originating from single cell species does not disprove a creator though.
