That's a pretty stupid thing to say.

1. If your deity can be said to be "perfectly holy and just" then there exists a standard of perfection and justice, which of necessity exists APART from him, and which he could not have created. Where did that standard come from ? If he's just perfect because he possesses the attributes he does, and because of what he is, ... then your standard is meaningless. I have to say, the mods here are cooler than a lot of the mods I come across on other forums.  I usually have trouble discussing this topic and they haven't given me any problems here.  For that I am thankful.  I've been banned before and had many posts and threads deleted or closed regarding this over the years so it is cool to have a place to discuss these things.

Few months ago there was a debate about this very topic between some guy who wrote a book claiming how DNA is a proof of a designer and a guy that teaches evolution on YouTube and sometimes gives lectures on universities.
