Famous artists, be they actors, comedians, musicians, writers are rarely recognized for all those things at the same time, while many do try to dabble in other arts other than what they are primarily known for.

And the person I have in mind isn't merely 'dabbling'. If the acting thing goes toes-up, this person could have a successful music career.

The same can be said for crossover sports stars we know today. Some start out in a prior sport only to become famous in what we know today.
So are we talking about recent history or decades old?
If this person is a primary actor, who has gotten awards for acting/comedy/drama/music and writing books, that certainly is rare.
