The words"brick" and  "wall" just popped into my head. I have no idea why   

The guy is clearly ignorant and suffering from cognitive  dissonance. That does not make him stupid.

He is in a hard place.  He cannot afford to accept scientific evidence which contradicts his simplistic dogma ; it would  change his entire world view.  Far too scary.

This thread only continues because we reply to his posts.
