I found it especially galling when I learned that nature is actually a pretty bad engineer. In nature 'good enough is 'good enough'.
Complexity may imply design, but it may also imply the opposite. My perception is that simplicity of both form and function are the hallmarks of good design.
I've long believed that that the designs of a supreme being would be elegant, simple and--perfect.
The supreme usually discussed here is perfect by definition. How then could such a being design anything which were imperfect, including us?
Not convinced he would design anything as inelegant as a bug which defecates through its mouth.Yet nature abounds with examples of weirdly/poorly designed creatures.
The argument from design/complexity/watchmaker dickheads have a pretty low opinion of the design abilities of their god, imo..
I guess this another unfalsifiable claim. Makes just as much sense to me as the intelligent design argument.
