Basically what idea was bandied about but never went anywhere. That is a tough one, because you are looking for a specific idea I think. But when I looked at wiki, and maybe I am reading it wrong, there were a couple ideas that got no traction.

Well, if that was the standard, it also wouldn't be incorrect to say that the Beatles didn't make a film that ANYONE else made. Since that isn't the standard, I'm also not accepting 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', 'Barefoot In The Park' or 'Night Of The Living Dead'.
But yes, it was an idea that didn't go anywhere. 'Three Musketeers' is wrong.
