It is that easy. Life evolved.  All you have to do is look around at life on earth and you can see the clear truth of small changes over a long period of time adding up to large changes. I believe in Evolution because it’s obvious. Duh. Therefore, I’m right, and the theory of ID is wrong.

The extent of evolution is highly disputed.

So what if DNA does actually prove what you say it proves? Doesn't tell me anything about the designer, or anything about the designers whereabouts. The thing is, why should anyone care? What difference would it make if you are in fact correct?

It is critically important based on my religion.  It is the one true religion. It has a creation story that makes sense that God made the heavens and the Earth in the beginning and the prophecies happened.

And they have the benefit of being scientifically provable.
Unlike your "god" which has no explanatory power at all.

Here are a few possible explanations for natural causes for the big bang.

All of these are better than "magic man dun it" which is what you say and again I will ask.

How did magic man do it?
Where did it get the stuff?
Where was magic man while it decided to do this?
How did the place magic man was in come to exist?
How did magic man come to exist?
What was magic mans motivation?

I could go on but you get the drift.
The appeal to a "god" doing it begs many more questions than it thinks it answers and I find it rather silly.

He created the heavens and Earth in 6 days and He rested on the 7th.  He is in control and He created all matter from outside the boundaries of this universe.  God and the heavenly realm always existed.  He created man as His own creation because He is a Creator.  We are in His image.  We create things because He does.

Actually it isn't dependent on how one proposes it happened

I heard it explained many ways without a Creator and none of them make sense.
