I'm not averse to people coming to the US for asylum. What I don't like is the disorderly manner in which it is happening. Process the people at the border, taking fingerprints and photos, and issue an identification card. We don't know who the criminals are in the crowd yet, because they possibly haven't been previously identified. With the information then on file, those who do commit crimes can be identified and dealt with. This would also slow the dangerous crossings, since there wouldn't be any penalty for going through the process. Those still crossing in dangerous areas could be given the same treatment.
