I'd take the actual Abba over Yngwie all day. I'm not a fan of Malmsteen, though as a young man a lot of my guitarist friends listened to him while they were trying to learn their speed technique.
I just don't think that man is capable of the beauty and musical subtlety that a really classy musician has. It seems he either plays a lot of scales really really fast-- or he plays a lot of arpeggios really really fast.
For that category of guitarist, I'd go with Steve Vai or even Van Halen as being superior musicians overall, even though I don't think either of them is as clean as Yngwie at high speeds.
