Sixty years ago Kennedy put men on the moon but the detestable bastard now in the Whitehouse couldn't tell you what the moon is made of or how it got there.
And what's most scary is it's not his fault, he's the moron Louis Mencken warned you about and placed into power by the morons every other fucker has been warning you about, the religious right. Trump is the inevitable consequence of what happens when a great power is infiltrated by those determined to make said power a theocracy: kavanaugh, Pence, et,al.
And it's too late to fix, there's not a fucking thing you can do about it.

While Trump worries me, it isn't so much him alone, but the tone he can set long term. The more politicians who take his scapegoating white nationalist tone, the worse off we will become. But 2018 was a rebuke of that, and the good part is he isn't appealing to swing voters like in 2020 to the same degree.

I worry more for the entire planet because of global warming.
