As for your question, "How can you turn from Him?", you are assuming your particular God was the creator God. Even if you could prove DNA was created, you couldn't prove from that alone that it was your particular God who did it.
I "turn from Him" because a God is not the simplest and most likely explanation for what we see. God is a failed hypothesis.
God is the most likely. The prophecies in the Book came true.

The reason why a God is a less likely explanation is because it requires a whole other, unexplained "spiritual dimension" to reality. That is not an economical hypothesis.
