It's horrifying and symbolic of the lack of respect for women. Fuck them and fuck Christianity.
These people are in office to serve the people. We pay them to do this job. They are not serving the people. They are pushing their own twisted agendas. The contents of my uterus are not up to debate. It's none of anyone's business. I keep reading that abortion is between women and their doctors. Fuck that. Abortion is a woman's very personal and private choice.
This movement, paired with the attack on Planned Parenthood and other services that provide healthcare to an increasingly poor demographic of women is nothing short of horrifying. I have always been a bit of an optimist, so my optimist voice is telling myself that this is a wake up call that will result in real change. That these right-wing, non-majority, misogynistic pigs will be stomped out like a rogue campfire as a result of this threat.
This is a ploy to get the law to the SCOTUS now that there's a conservative majority due to Trump's two (fucking TWO) appointments. The laws are unconstitutional, of course. But put to a new Supreme Court ruling, there is an opportunity for change. Let's hope that pigfucker Kavanaugh actually has a conscience like he says he does.
