People might diss British cuisine, but I have to say, pasty rocks. I'm grateful to have several local eateries that do it well
Cornish pasties? Here we just call them 'pasties'.(pronounced 'pars-tees') They are sold at lunch bars all over Australia, along with Aussie meat pies. Both eaten with tomato sauce. (ketsup).
What a coincidence: I made a batch of 6 on Monday night. The idea was to have two for dinner, and freeze the rest. However, over the course of the evening,I eated them all. About 2 hours after finishing the last one, I felt quite ill. (I think one of 'em might have been off)
PS we still have heaps of Fish 'n' Chip shops, where you can still buy REAL hamburgers!
