R2D2 is my favorite character. Lovable, compassionate, pragmatic.
There is that scene where Luke has landed his X wing in the swamp, and R2 ends up in the mucky water and puts his scope up out of the water, and the noise he made was like care free "doopty doopty doo", like when my cat is walking around trying to figure out where he wants to go, in a carefree manor. Also shows a little fear too like when the swamp creature spit him out.
