I showed it to my neighbour... He said, and I quote.. "Why did he put the exact time?"
If it's my first encounter with a person and/or a seemingly dumb comment they have made, my usual response is to give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps your neighbour misspoke when they used the word "time". Maybe they meant date. Maybe it was just genuine curiosity.
I have no doubt I have made many, many comments in my lifetime that someone else would treat as incontrovertible evidence I'm stupid.
I guess I've just reached the point in my life (nearly 50 y.o.) that I don't want to exist in a hair-trigger state of "oh my god that's so stupid". Life is better for me when I don't default to that.
Now, if this was just one of multiple instances of stupid comments by a person I regularly interacted with... well... I'd probably come to the conclusion said person was an idiot, but I still wouldn't get bothered unless it was about an issue of genuine significance.
Like if they insisted on voting Republican.
