Humes skepticism didn’t seem to be operative on the subject. If a person referred to Hume as support for race realism rather than some other skeptic on YouTube, what would be different?
I’m not huge on YouTube, other than for awesome playlists, lol....but maybe you could engage your own skepticism and wonder whether your opinion here is colored by factual differences, or pure nostalgia? You preferred Hume and his skepticism. He was highly skeptical of negroes common humanity, to say the least.
That’s how this still works, on YouTube. Was Hume also peddling shadows on the wall of a cave? You can point to his better work, but so can fans if alt right YouTube nutters. Again, that’s the cover.
