Most firearm owners are on board with reducing firearm violence including over half of republicans. It is like having 70% nation of Martin Luther King Jrs and Malalas with 5% Dillon Roofs and Bin Laden's mentality scorched earth mentality"If I cant have you, nobody can", mentality.
There are 55 million firearm owners, but only 5 million NRA members, but even with those NRA members MOST, as I said are on board with doing something. So it really amounts to a very small sect of the right that is holding our nation hostage.
40 year of fear marketing by the industry and lobbyists are why there are just enough to fuck things up.
Lol..
I find it funny you find gun owners fearful.
If shooting starts I'll be damned glad I have a gun on me. (I will probably wish i carried something bigger than the dinky .380 I have been carrying lately).
You on the other hand will simply shit yourself.
Who' s afraid?
When shooting start?
You have roughly 1 in 250,000 chance of being killed in a mass shooting incident each year.
The typical gun owner had a 1 in 70,000 chance of killing himself or a family member in a gun accident each year. People who wear a gun regularly in a non-professional capacity probably has a far higher chance than those who keep their guns in a safe most of the time.
Out of fear of 1 in 250,000 chance of something bad, you embrace a cure that affords what for you is probably statistically considerably more than 1 in 70,000 chance of the same thing.
So who is so afraid he has become pissing in pants irrational?
