Anyhoo....the opinions in this thread to the effect of people’s common everyday shittiness (or sociopathy, even) have more to do with a misanthropic attitude than fact.
People aren’t anywhere near as bad as people could be, and our society certainly doesn’t reward heterodox behaviors or personalities such as sociopathy. Unless you consider stigma and institutionalization rewarding.
I think that it’s more likely, op, that you are expressing your frustrations rather than commenting on how people or society really is. You won’t find sociopaths (and a society that rewards them) everywhere you go (or anywhere, really)....but you will find your frustrations anywhere and everywhere.
Wherever you go, there you are, after all.
