I'm not sure where you're going with your contention that religion had anything to do with the modern inventions you have listed, ruholla.
Religion qua religion has had very little to do with great discoveries and inventions. Those who were religious and discovered or invented things are likely to have done so without any religion behind them (save when the churches have been funding them, whereupon certain godbranding issues tend to obtain).
Firstly, how convenient of you talking about certain individuals like Daimler and Benz and not Henry Ford. From what I read on Tesla is that he comes from a very religious family (his father was a priest). So I doubt he's an atheist. Also from what I heard, Edison was NOT an atheist. I'm going to do a bit of research on these other individuals and make a comment-- to see if you're just conveniently lying to all the readers on this thread or you're saying the truth. Personally I think it's the former--after all, you don't believe that lying is immoral.
However as I pointed out before.....the sound economy (inline with God's principles) gave these individuals such opportunities to be innovative and invent life-changing products. Also you can't deny that the majority of the population back then was religious and NOT immoral and corrupt that would of distracted these great thinkers from achieving their potential.
