Thats pretty fuckin weird
Never liked the guys music, personally. He had a couple hits but outside of that... Nah. Hard pass.
This certainly doesnt make me like him anymore. What a creep.
Its so bizarre to me that men act like this over their daughters. I might joke around with my niece and have said shit like "no boyfriends til youre 30" and shed giggle and call me silly, but in reality, despite my being protective of her, i understand that shes going to be an adult one day and will certainly have romantic relationships at some point. And thats fine. It's normal. Does it make me nervous? Sure. Thats called caring about someone.
But you what else makes me nervous? Thinking about her driving, or trying drugs, or skipping school, or any other number of hypothetical scenarios that I could work myself up about if I tried hard enough. But whats the point in that? Most I can do is try to impart whatever wisdom i can on her, let her know that shes loved for who she is, and hope she makes choices that are ultimately good for her even if i dont agree with them.
What this guys doing is not only totally misogynistic, it shows a complete lack of ability to control his own emotions and concerns about his daughter.

If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
