I feel bad for the gyno she goes to.  HIPAA is a big deal in healthcare and if she's 18 or over, the doctor is going to have a difficult time following the law and giving her a legitimate exam.  Just asking her questions about her medical history is going to be tricky; all her answers are going to be tainted by the fact that there's a good chance she won't feel comfortable being completely honest with her dad sitting right there.  

I'll joke with my kids about sex; usually it's me telling them I'm too damn young to be a grandma.  But if we need to sit and talk, honestly and openly about sex, I'm there for them.  And I'm going to give them privacy with their sexuality, too.  Privacy is important for private matters.

Your kids? Aren't you trans? Or were those kids from the days when you were still pretending you were content with the genitalia you were born with?

Yeah, I have kids from "before."  It's scary how much I see myself in them.
