RE: Any of you attend a Christian University/high school. What were your thoughts?

I went to Catholic schools from 6th grade through high school graduation. I'd have preferred the public schools that were a couple towns to the east of us but mostly because that's where my friends went to school. We did have to take a 'religion' class every semester but some were actually okay...like the one titled 'World Religions'. There was almost no religion mentioned in our other classes and we had first class science instructors who didn't ever mention religion - not even the members of the clergy I had for some of the classes. High school was geared toward college attendance so instruction was in line with what most people would encounter at secular colleges.
Other than the occasional mandatory masses and seeing nuns, priests, and brothers every day...I don't think it was an issue. Education standards were high. Now, when I look at the website for the school it seems to be much more religion oriented than I remember it being.
My brother attended two religious colleges during his four years but that's because they were the schools that offered him free ride scholarships for football. He seems to have survived parochial school from first grade through college just fine.
