None of that happens here in portugal, the customer services are recorded and never said something of the sort. They usually say "is there something else I can help with?" And then after a no thanks, they say goodday/night and both sign off.
I wouldn't care much about it. I usually end my phone calls with "goodbye and hugs". In portuguese ofc. A hug is "abraço"
