No it might make me run out and buy a (lamb) steak. That's the point arewethereyet (The Simpsons!) misses the point. If you could show me that what I believe atm is basically BS I will cease to be vegan. As I say I have the cravings to eat meat I believe every vegan does.

I think the grand irony, in this one, is that hunger is driven by the same consumer trends and purchasing disparity that makes veganism a profitable niche for producers in specific markets. I've got a nice life on account of vegan customers, but none of that money or food went to some starving nigerian. That's not how that works.
