I did what I could.
The blame is on the breeders.
No one is saying that overpopulation isn't a problem. But the real damage to the environment is what we're doing to sustain that population at current consumption levels with current production methods.
And, for what it's worth, I'm a big fan of free birth control. I had my vasectomy at 19, and have never participated in 'churning out babies', loveable or otherwise.
